Basic Truffle School
The fundamentals of truffle searching — the dog learns to recognise the scent of truffles, mark them reliably and search for them eagerly with minor distractions.
You will learn how to:
- start the training correctly and lay the foundations for the work
- prepare the dog to mark the truffle
- reward the dog clearly and at the right moment
- develop and direct the dog's scenting abilities
- recognise the behaviours that lead to a successful find
- avoid the most common mistakes in the work

- VaccinationAt least one vaccination against canine infectious diseases
- Handler's ageFrom 15 years of age and up
Course goal: by the end you have solid foundations for continuing to develop your dog towards truffle hunting.

Truffle High School
The dog learns to search for truffles without a command or additional cues, amid greater distractions, and to stay under control after finding a truffle.

Level 3Truffle Master's
The dog goes out to a truffle habitat and prepares for fieldwork. It is necessary to pass an assessment (the truffle finals) covering searching without a command and the basics of obedience for control within the habitat (come, down, stay).
