A blend of expertise, love for dogs and years of work with handlers and their dogs.
Head and instructor
Rafael Dubrović
Rafael Dubrović holds a university master's degree in kinesiology and is a veterinary technician, with many years of experience working with dogs. Even during his studies he focused on the relationship between people and dogs, obedience, and training the canine nose for a variety of purposes.
He develops his cynological experience through years of work at the Club for the Training of Working and Sporting Dogs "Zagreb" (KOSSP "Zagreb"), one of the largest cynological clubs (by number of disciplines) in this part of Europe.
At the club he works as an instructor for a variety of courses and training programmes (obedience, socialisation, puppies, nosework, search and rescue dogs), and as a judge for exams and competitions in obedience and nosework. He is an active competitor in the search-and-rescue and nosework disciplines.
He has been actively involved in truffle hunting over the past two years, applying his cynological knowledge of working with dogs to real-world conditions in the field.

Lava has so far achieved a number of notable results at international competitions; here we will highlight one from the search-and-rescue discipline and one from detection:
A maximum score of 100/100 at the 2026 World Championship for search-and-rescue dogs in the rubble-search discipline, in the obedience portion of the exam
2nd place overall at the 2025 international nosework cup (the cup consisted of 4 competitions)
